Starting with Ms. Roxanne! She is an outstanding first-year teacher who exemplifies what it means to lead with both heart and high expectations. She brings joy and energy into her classroom each day, creating a positive environment where students feel supported and challenged to succeed. Her commitment to continuous growth and reflection is evident in her practice, as she consistently seeks ways to improve and refine her teaching.

Mr. Reyes, our Staff of the Month, also known as “Mr. Clean” is the heart behind the scenes that keeps our campus shining! As our dedicated groundskeeper, he goes above and beyond every day, not only maintaining our beautiful spaces and garden, but always stepping in wherever help is needed. Whether it’s setting the tone with the best music and good vibes or supporting staff and scholars with a smile, Mr. Reyes brings positivity wherever he goes. His energy is contagious, his attitude is unmatched, and our campus is better because of him. Thank you, Mr. Reyes, for everything you do! 👏

Attention MASSA Families – Walker Safety Reminder
As we kick off the school year, we kindly ask all families to review the MASSA Walker Safety Reminders with your scholars.
Walking home is a privilege that comes with responsibility.
To ensure everyone’s safety and help our dismissal process run smoothly,
it’s important that all scholars understand and follow the guidelines.
✅ Please go over each reminder with your child, especially:
The need for a valid walker pass
Promptly exiting the building at “walker all call”
Older siblings taking responsibility for their younger ones
Always using crosswalks to cross the street safely
Being picked up by 3:45 PM, as there is no supervision after this time
Your support is key to keeping our community safe.
Let’s work together to help our scholars take this responsibility
seriously and make sure they’re following expectations every day 💛🦁

as well as a few policies we have in place.

🌅 Morning Procedures
Before Care Program (Enrolled scholars only)
🔹 Begins at 6:30 AM
🔹 Drop-off location: Northwest Gate
School Opens for All Students
🔹 7:15 AM – Drop off through the North Gate (Driveline)
🔹 7:30 AM – West Gate opens for students walking into campus
Breakfast Time in Cafeteria
🔹 7:15 AM – 7:45 AM
🔹 Students enter through the North Gate (Driveline)
Classroom Arrival Deadline
🔹 All students must be in class by 7:55 AM
🚫 Tardy Policy
Students arriving after 7:55 AM are considered tardy
🔸 They must be signed in at the Front Office by a parent or guardian
🔸 The North Gate will close at 7:55 AM

Birthday Celebration Policy 🎉
🎂 All classes will celebrate birthdays on the last Friday of each month
during the last 20 minutes of class.
🍎 If you plan to bring in treats, please ensure they are healthy options.
