Ms. Arian is an exceptional educator who connects with students across grade levels in meaningful and inspiring ways. She joyfully engages our kindergarten students through music and song, creating a welcoming environment where learning is fun and memorable, while also skillfully incorporating 6th grade ELD standards into engaging activities like creating a neighborhood. Ms. Arian holds her students to high expectations and models those same expectations through her own dedication, consistency, and professionalism. Her ability to motivate, connect, and lead makes her truly deserving of Teacher of the Month recognition.

Ms. Veronica is a dependable and dedicated team member who consistently shows up ready to assist, no matter the task. She plays a vital role in helping MASSA run smoothly, whether she is supporting kindergarten, working with middle school students, or stepping in for lunch and recess duty. Ms. Veronica builds positive relationships with students and staff alike, always bringing a supportive and caring presence to our campus. Her flexibility, commitment, and willingness to help wherever needed make her truly deserving of Staff Member of the Month recognition.

Attention MASSA Families – Walker Safety Reminder
As we kick off the school year, we kindly ask all families to review the MASSA Walker Safety Reminders with your scholars.
Walking home is a privilege that comes with responsibility.
To ensure everyone’s safety and help our dismissal process run smoothly,
it’s important that all scholars understand and follow the guidelines.
✅ Please go over each reminder with your child, especially:
The need for a valid walker pass
Promptly exiting the building at “walker all call”
Older siblings taking responsibility for their younger ones
Always using crosswalks to cross the street safely
Being picked up by 3:45 PM, as there is no supervision after this time
Your support is key to keeping our community safe.
Let’s work together to help our scholars take this responsibility
seriously and make sure they’re following expectations every day 💛🦁

Before Care Program (Enrolled scholars only)
🔹 Begins at 6:30 AM
🔹 Drop-off location: Northwest Gate
School Opens for All Students
🔹 7:15 AM – Drop off through the North Gate (Driveline)
🔹 7:30 AM – West Gate opens for students walking into campus
Breakfast Time in Cafeteria
🔹 7:15 AM – 7:45 AM
🔹 Students enter through the North Gate (Driveline)
Classroom Arrival Deadline
🔹 All students must be in class by 7:55 AM
🚫 Tardy Policy
Students arriving after 7:55 AM are considered tardy
🔸 They must be signed in at the Front Office by a parent or guardian
🔸 The North Gate will close at 7:55 AM

Birthday Celebration Policy 🎉
🎂 All classes will celebrate birthdays on the last Friday of each month
during the last 20 minutes of class.
🍎 If you plan to bring in treats, please ensure they are healthy options.
