Hey MASSA Families! Just a reminder that the Middle School (6th–8th)
Winter Formal Dance is happening this Friday, December 5th, 2025! ❄️💃🕺
Important Details:
Permission slips: Money and permission slip are due together.
Cost: $10 (includes a mask).
Tickets will be printed and handed out on December 3rd. No tickets will be sold at the door.
Dance time: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM.
Scholars will only be released to the parent/guardian listed on the permission slip.
Food for purchase:

Attention MASSA Families – Walker Safety Reminder
As we kick off the school year, we kindly ask all families to review the MASSA Walker Safety Reminders with your scholars.
Walking home is a privilege that comes with responsibility.
To ensure everyone’s safety and help our dismissal process run smoothly,
it’s important that all scholars understand and follow the guidelines.
✅ Please go over each reminder with your child, especially:
The need for a valid walker pass
Promptly exiting the building at “walker all call”
Older siblings taking responsibility for their younger ones
Always using crosswalks to cross the street safely
Being picked up by 3:45 PM, as there is no supervision after this time
Your support is key to keeping our community safe.
Let’s work together to help our scholars take this responsibility
seriously and make sure they’re following expectations every day 💛🦁

🔹 Drop-off location: Northwest Gate
School Opens for All Students
🔹 7:15 AM – Drop off through the North Gate (Driveline)
🔹 7:30 AM – West Gate opens for students walking into campus
Breakfast Time in Cafeteria
🔹 7:15 AM – 7:45 AM
🔹 Students enter through the North Gate (Driveline)
Classroom Arrival Deadline
🔹 All students must be in class by 7:55 AM
🚫 Tardy Policy
Students arriving after 7:55 AM are considered tardy
🔸 They must be signed in at the Front Office by a parent or guardian
🔸 The North Gate will close at 7:55 AM

Birthday Celebration Policy 🎉
🎂 All classes will celebrate birthdays on the last Friday of each month
during the last 20 minutes of class.
🍎 If you plan to bring in treats, please ensure they are healthy options.
